A pair of Gio Ponti attributed oak cabinets, this rare and unique pair feature an upper portion which opens out and is decorated with a modernist geometric cut out motif, the geometric shapes are inset with glass. The warmth of the oak contrasts beautifully with the coolness of the mirrored glass. The whole case is constructed of oak and is a wonderfully warm hue, the case rests upon tapered and rounded legs. A highly sophisticated piece. All original.
