A walnut and leather sofa by Sapporo for Mobil Girgi, made in the 1970's, Italy. Stamped. Beautifully designed with angled front legs which extend to the sides and back, the back support is slightly curved. The leather upholstered seat and arms create lovely lines with the geometric shaped walnut supports, all perfectly fit within the structure. The rich grain of the wood contrasts beautifully with the original brown leather upholstery. The whole design reflects the modern and organic period of the 1970's in Italy. We also have the matching pair of chairs to make a complete set.
