A glamorous Italian Art Deco mahogany stool designed by Italian architect, Giancarlo Palanti, circa 1930 with elegant backrest; with original goat skin upholstery. A simple and streamlined design, with elegant curves which showcase the beauty of the wood. The goat skin and high polished mahogany were highly indicative of the Art Deco period, when animal skins and polished or exotic woods were highly sought after.
