Gigi Sabadin for Stilwood Set of Six 'Esse' Dining Chairs, circa 1973
A set of six 'Esse' model dining chairs, designed by Italian designer Gigi Sabadin for Stilwood in 1973. The chairs are a wonderful example of 1970's organic design, the bent plywood gives the appearance of being crafted from a single piece of wood that has been cut and folded. Supported by three legs, it forms a floating shape that serves as both the seat and backrest. The open space in the backrest adds a sense of lightness to the overall impression of the chair. These chairs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical. They are stackable, making them easy to store when not in use.

Size: 30 1/2" back height x 17" seat height x 17 1/2" wide x 17" deep
