Pair of Spanish Mannerist Painted and Gilded Carved Columns

A spectacular pair of 17th century Spanish Mannerist (Late Renaissance) carved gilt and polychrome wood columns, with Corinthian tops and herringbone motif. The gilding and polychrome paint original and in excellent condition.
The columns circa 1600-1640; the bronze painted stands modern.
